The preservation of these most historic vehicles is not a cheap exercise, each one costing around £100 per month just in rent and overheads, then at least the same again (per month) to enable some level of restoration to be carried out. That is before thinking about fuel, tax and breakdown cover to take vehicles out and about.....
If there is anyone (private individual or a business/corporate body) who would feel able to support us, we would gratefully accept either one-off donations, or a small, regular monthly donation that would go towards rent for undercover accommodation for our historic vehicles, or towards their rectification and maintenance costs. Please contact us as above if you would like to help. Businesses in particular, there is an opportunity to sponsor the repaint (to include your logo) of some of our vehicles.

Payable by standing order or cheque. Membership will run from January to December. New members joining part way through the year will pay a monthly pro rata membership to take them to the end of the year.
What will I get for my money?
Membership of the South West Preservation Group. The £12.00 per year pays a contribution towards the running of the SWPG group i.e Website costs, Postage, Stationery etc.
We're hoping that all members will take some practical part in the care, maintenance and restoration of our vehicles, or in its fundraising, educational or support activities. If you can't, don't worry, your membership will still entitle you to:
Exclusive access to the vehicles for trips to rallies and photoshoot days out (donations are NOT compulsory but would be appreciated to aid further restoration.) PCV licence holder members will also be able to drive the various vehicles at rallies.
Members are also entitled to attend the annual AGM, where a chance to propose and discuss rallies we aim to attend, general chat about the health and future of the vehicles as well as possible further acquisitions. You will also be given unrestricted access to the "Private" SWPG Yahoo Group, were all group discussions take place. Members will be able to have exclusive access to the SWPG clothing range, introduced in 2010.
