4th - North Weald. North Weald airfield, near Epping. Bus services from Epping and Ongar.
Although an SWPG vehicle might not be attending, several members will be in attendance with transport provided by our friends at Thamesdown Transport. It is intended to be one of their newly acquired ex London area Dart MPD's, 101 KE53VDP
4th - Keighley Festival of Transport.
Former GM Buses Scania 1466 H466GVM and Southern Vectis Tiger 310 TJI 8780, will be in service at this rally based on the Keighley & Worth Valley railway.
18th - Mid-Hants Railway / Alton Bus Rally & Running Day, Anstey Park, Alton. 01962-733810.
SWPG are not attending this event but several SWPG members will be attending on a vehicle from the
Thamesdown Transport Fleet 104 NK04UTL
24th - MCW Metrobus farewell, NXWM Acocks Green depot. GM Metrobus 5120 SND120X has been invited along by the organisers to be on display at the depot on the final day of Metrobus operations with NXWM.
25th - Sandtoft Gathering. Ex Southern Vectis Tiger 310 TJI8780 will be attending this rally.
August 2010
15th - Annual Brislington Rally. Bath Rd Park & Ride site.
Ex GM Buses Metrobus SND120X has been entered for this rally. We will hopefully be using it on the free bus services as well on the day.
September 2010
5th - Torbay Vintage Bus Running day. Organised by our friends at the Devon & Dorset Group, to be held again at the Shedden Hill car park in Torquay. Metrobus 5120 SND120X will be attending this event.

5th - Trans Lancs Rally, Heaton Park, Manchester. One of the biggest rallies in the north of England with around 200 vehicles expected to attend. Southern Vectis Tiger 310, TJI8780 and GM Buses Scania 1466 H466GVM are expected to be attending.
26th - EFE Showbus Rally, Duxford Airfield, Cambridgeshire.
We will be attending on a vehicle kindly supplied by Thamesdown Transport - hopefully it will be one of their newly delivered vehicles.
We may also take one or two of our own vehicles if time and funds permit, Southern Vectis Tiger 310 TJI8780 is expected to be one of them.
October 2010
10th - "Fleetline Fifty"; half a century of the iconic Daimler, The Transport Museum (BaMMoT), Wythall.
We may have a suprise entrant to this rally from an associated Preservation Group.
17th - "Route 9" event, Manchester Musuem of Transport. This event celebrates the former Joint Corporation route 9 (now 409) between Ashton, Oldham and Rochdale. Several former Corporation vehicles and former GMPTE vehicles associated with this route are gathering at the museum. Hopefully former GM Buses vehicles Scania 1466 H466GVM and Metrobus 5120 SND120X will be able to attend. (TBC)
17th - Isle of Wight Bus Museum. Ian Berry intends taking his newly repainted Southern Vectis Tiger 310 TJI8780 from Manchester down to the IOW for the rally and return on the monday.
The plan is; Depart Manchester on saturday morning travelling via Birmingham, Oxford and Southampton. Attend the rally on sunday, travel around the island monday morning for photo shoots and return to manchester in the evening.
